Frequently Asked Questions
There are a few different factors to consider when purchasing one of our kits. We make recommendations based off of three questions:
What's your budget?
Do you use the vehicle to tow?
What ride height do you prefer?
Our first option is the airdelete and magdelete conversion kit. These are a good choice for customers who want brand new parts and mostly use their vehicle for average everyday driving. This is our in house branded kit and is intended to be an OEM equivalent replacement. These are generally the softest ride quality option that we offer and are typically similar height to OEM.
Our second option is the Bilstein 4600 Conversion Kit. This kit is best for those who want a bit more performance feel, tighter than the OEM system but still reasonably soft over bumps. Some models have height adjustability in the 4600 system.
For Ram models, please note that if you tow on a semi-regular basis, you should strongly consider choosing the +35% spring upgrade. The stock Ram rear coils are known to be softer than expected from the factory and do not handle weight well. The +35% coils are an excellent choice to fix this.
Some kits have adjustable front ride height. This is a personal choice based on your own usage and you will need to decide what is right for you. These front struts are adjustable even after your purchase, but they will need to be removed from the vehicle, compressed using a commercial grade strut compressor, reinstalled and a wheel alignment must be performed. If you need assistance choosing a ride height, please visit the contact us page and we would be happy to help.
The third option is our Fox based products. These are similar ride quality to the Bilstein 4600's, but using Fox branded shocks.
The fourth option is the Bilstein 5100 kit. The 5100's are the firmest ride quality that we offer. This product has the least body roll around corners and the most performance feel. This is a great option for customers who tow or haul.
Our fifth option is the 3" lift kit. This is recommended for our customers who intend to install larger tires and use their truck off-road. This kit comes in 2 versions - the Bilstein version uses a rear coil spacer. The Eibach 3" lift is our premium 3" lift and comes with a longer coil for the rear rather than a spacer, and offers slightly improved ride quality.
Our final option is the 4" or 6" lift kits. These conversion & lift kits use our Bilstein 5100 conversion kit along with Zone Offroad lift components.

Acts of God
There are a few reasons why this will end with less than desirable results. The parts stores keep suspension components on hand that are meant to replace parts on vehicles that originally came with normal springs and shocks. There are usually some design issues that need to be addressed, like the difference in upper strut mount and bump stop design among others. In addition to this, it's extremely unlikely that the parts store, your local mechanic, or the dealership will be able to remove the warning light that will illuminate after removal of the ai or magneride suspension system. This is a very important step, especially when it comes to the eventual resale of your vehicle.
We only sell complete conversion kits and will not sell parts and pieces from any kit. Unless we are replacing a component from a previously purchased kit, we will not send you a standalone component from one of our kits.
All of our products are intended to restore your vehicle to OEM or better ride quality.
The magdelete and airdelete kits are the softest that we offer and are intended to be similar to an OEM suspension system.
The Bilstein 4600 kit offers a firmer ride, more road feel than the magdelete and airdelete kits. This kit will have less body roll around corners and customers often comment that the handling feels tighter than the OEM system.
The Bilstein 4600 kit is recommended for a more performance handling feel, but with ride quality that isn't too firm.
The Bilstein 5100 kit is the firmest ride quality that we offer. This product has the least body roll around corners and the most performance feel.
The Fox 2.0 kit falls in between the two previous options for softness and would be considered a good middle ground for customers who want some ride softness and some improved handling characteristics.
Towing capacity is a legal definition based on the factory installed options on your vehicle. This can be found in the owners manual and on the door sticker. Our conversion kits will not change the legal payload or towing capacity of your vehicle.
Absolutely! All of our kits come with full instructions for installation of the kit and programming (if applicable). It's difficult to assess the mechanical ability of a customer, but generally it is doable for the handyman type or backyard mechanic. You will need a variety of hand tools as well as the ability to lift the vehicle and safely support it one axle at a time during install.
If you'd like to have a local mechanic install your kit, no problem! We will happily work with your mechanic of choice if they have any questions or if any issues arise. Please see our dealer locator at the bottom of the page.
We offer a variety of kits. Our aftermarket replacement kit is considered OEM quality and would meet or exceed the quality of our competitors kits. Our Bilstein kits are built on one of the best names in the suspension industry!
In addition to this, our kits don't use unreliable relays like the competition does to remove the warning lights. These cheap relays trick the system into thinking the air suspension is still working. We only use modules, or program the air or magneride out of the computer entirely.
Shipping times strongly depend on your location. We see delivery to most major cities (and surrounding areas) within 2-3 business days of shipping. More rural and remote areas can be 3-6 business days.
We try our best to get shipments out the same or next day, but this can vary depending on order volumes. If you'd like an accurate shipping ETA, please email before ordering. Shipping ETA's are an estimate only - we recommend that you do not book installation appointments until after you've received your conversion kit.
We generally ship with either UPS, Purolator or Canada Post (usually only for rural or remote areas).

We do not supply programming tools separately from the purchase of a conversion kit directly from our website. You must add the programming tool as an add-on to your purchase to receive a programming tool. No exceptions.
In order to receive a refund for your programming tool deposit, please follow the instructions on the last page of the programming instruction sheet. Please note that we cannot refund programming tools returned more than one year past the original purchase date.
Yes! Most of our conversion kits have the option to retain rear auto level. See the options on the specific product page for more details.
Unfortunately the upper mounts and springs are different on the Magneride struts and are simply not compatible with aftermarket non Magneride bare struts. On air suspension vehicles, there are no frotn springs or upper spring mounts since the vehicle has an air bag instead. You can save the hassle of sourcing a spring compressor or of running into compatibility issues by purchasing a full kit!
